Jay’s back in hospital again since Monday. This time it was a stomach bug that got him feverish/dumping/dehydrated again. He’s had a rough time of it this time, poor wee man. But, after a few days on TPN, he’s feeling better again. Today he got to finally have a few mls of clear fluids to drink and was soooo happy about that.
We’ve all had the tummy bug, and for Grayson, that meant two days at home alone with Grandma and no mum and dad for the first time in his life. Luckily he and Grandma are mates from way back, so neither was too traumatized–just exhausted.
We need a holiday. Preferably from bugs for a start.
Meanwhile, hopefully Jayden will be home before too long.
PS: One of Jay’s nurses told me today that she came across his blog. So, if you see this, Thank you, M! You’re awesome, and it’s always a pleasure seeing your happy smiley face in Jay’s room (even if we do keep you yapping a lot longer than we should!)

He’s doing pretty well now, but they’re trialing him on a new formula we’re a bit worried about and just waiting to see how that goes over the weekend. fingers crossed
